Job Description:

Position Overview: The Educational Programs Coordinator will oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs and services. This role includes managing curriculum development, coordinating student and parent affairs, organizing tutoring and ESL classes, facilitating youth programs and workshops, and promoting these offerings through effective networking and marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement educational curriculum and programs for children, adults, and youth.
• Coordinate registration processes and maintain accurate records for students and parents.
• Oversee tutoring services for kids and ESL classes for adults and youth.
• Organize and facilitate workshops and programs aimed at educational development.
• Promote educational classes and workshops through various marketing and networking strategies.
• Set the schedule for educational programs and coordinate with other events of Mozaic.
• Submit monthly student reports and progress evaluations.
• Engage teachers with training and new lesson creativity tools.
• Review lesson plans from teachers to ensure quality and relevance.
• Maintain effective communication with parents, students, and staff through emails and meetings.
• Utilize tools such as Google Classroom, Forms, and Zoom for program management and communication.
• Serve as a liaison between students, parents, and educators to address concerns and support educational goals.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make improvements as necessary.
• Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders to enhance program offerings.
• Provide support and resources to students and parents to ensure successful program participation.
• Network with local organizations, schools, and community groups to increase program visibility and participation.
• Develop and execute marketing plans to attract new participants and retain existing ones.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, or a related field required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in educational program coordination or a related field.
• Strong understanding of educational program development and implementation.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and educational program management software.
• Experience in marketing and promoting educational programs.
• Fluency in Arabic and English preferred; additional language skills are a plus.
