Refugee Mentorship with Mozaic

Mozaic’s Sponsoring Program is designed to empower refugees and ease their transition by providing the care they need until they become self sufficient and independent.    

You can make this transition easier by choosing one or more of Mozaic sponsoring programs below. Our program will give you the chance to interact with the refugees and monitor their progress and be part of their positive change and stability.

Financial:

  • ✅ Select one of the new refugee families from Mozaic's database.
  • ✅ Evaluate the financial needs of the chosen family thoroughly.
  • ✅ Submit the assessment report detailing the family's financial requirements to Mozaic.
  • ✅ Mozaic will create a donation link specifically designated for the selected family.
  • ✅ Invite your associates and community members to contribute to the fundraising campaign.
  • ✅ Facilitate the collection of funds and ensure that the donations are directed towards meeting the family's identified needs.

Physical:

  • ✅ Background check
  • ✅ Sign the confidentiality form
  • ✅ Pay the family a weekly visit
  • ✅ By daily phone calls
  • ✅ Drive them to doctor appointment
  • ✅ Report weekly to Mozaic
  • ✅ Arrange tutoring for kids and ESL classes for adults if needed

Social & Emotional:

  • ✅ Make sure the family attend all Mozaic events
  • ✅ Engage them in the community activities
  • ✅ Kids’ activities with Mozaic and with their neighboring community

Professional:

  • ✅ Job search
  • ✅ CV edits
  • ✅ Drive them to career development sessions
  • ✅ Professional advice about job interviews
  • ✅ Engage in job fairs
