Mozaic Pulse Program

About Us

PULSE is a youth-led initiative driven by motivated refugee and immigrant youth who bring unique perspectives shaped by their diverse backgrounds and connection to Syria. The program develops youth awareness through structured workshops and expert-led sessions that address local health topics while highlighting the ongoing medical crisis in Syria.
Building on this foundation, PULSE guides members in transforming awareness into action through targeted fundraising to supply one essential medical device at a time to healthcare providers serving Syrian communities. The initiative strengthens youth leadership, civic engagement, and purposeful humanitarian involvement.

Founding Story

PULSE began when a group of Mozaic youth expressed a desire to build meaningful, mission-driven experience that would strengthen their résumés for competitive universities and future careers. What started as a search for personal development quickly evolved into a collective humanitarian vision: raising awareness about the medical crisis in Syria and supporting it one medical device at a time. Guided by Mozaic’s mentorship, these youth transformed their ambition into impact, founding PULSE as a platform for leadership, service, and purposeful action.

Program Description

PULSE empowers youth through education, leadership development, and hands-on humanitarian action to support Syria’s medical needs — one device at a time.

Youth Health Awareness Workshops

Interactive sessions led by medical professionals, public health experts, and humanitarian practitioners. Youth learn about:
