UNHCR Visit
On the occasion of World Refugee Day, we had the privilege of hosting a remarkable visit from the UNHCR at the Mozaic Center. Their visit aimed to highlight the extraordinary and beneficial influence that Mozaic has on the lives of refugees.
The One Journey Festival exceeded all expectations, thanks to the remarkable contributions of our devoted volunteers who made it an extraordinary event.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the One Journey team for orchestrating a festival brimming with talented refugees, captivating performances, and endless enjoyment. Collectively, we honored the resilience and talents of our newcomer community, creating unforgettable memories.
Esennsials Depot
Responding to the surge in requests for assistance from new refugee families, Mozaic launched our Mozaic Care Essentials Depot.
We have secured a storage space to accept donations of household goods for the new families. If you’d like to support this project, please donate or purchase items from our Amazon Wishlist.
Day of Arafah
Our sisters had the opportunity to gather at the Mozaic Center and engage in worship on the 9th of Dhulhijjah.
They also supported a refugee chef by ordering food for her for their breaking of fast with their families.
Mozaic Library
The Mozaic Library has a collection of more than 400 books donated by esteemed members of the local community.
These English and Arabic books cover a wide range of topics and are in Arabic and English.
Upcoming Eid Event: Mozaic Center
We are excited to share that Mozaic will be holding our first Eid celebration at the Mozaic Center on Sunday, July 16th from 2pm – 6pm at the Mozaic Center in Sterling.
There will be food vendors, artisan bazaar, storytime, crafts and board games for all to enjoy. Come celebrate with us and visit the center!
