Mozaic Youth

Where Faith Meets Ambition

Support the transformative work of Mozaic and the International Rescue Committee (IRC) through our Refugee Placement Community Partner (RPCP) program. As a mentor, you have the unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of refugees as they embark on their journey towards stability and self-sufficiency in their new communities.

Purpose of the Program

The primary purpose of the Mozaic Youth Program is to guide young people through this critical stage of their lives by providing them with the tools and resources they need to succeed both spiritually and socially. By integrating Islamic principles with practical life skills, the program aims to:

Strengthen Islamic Identity

Through in-depth Quranic studies, classes on the Sunna, and discussions on Islamic values, we help youth cultivate a strong and resilient faith foundation. This foundation empowers them to make informed and positive decisions that align with their religious beliefs.

Promote Personal Development

The program emphasizes the importance of self-awareness, goal setting, and continuous personal growth. Classes on time management, financial literacy, and leadership development prepare young individuals to navigate the challenges of modern life with confidence and clarity.

Encourage Community Service

A key component of the Mozaic Youth Program is fostering a sense of responsibility towards the community. Participants engage in various community service projects, from volunteering at local events to organizing charitable initiatives. These experiences instill a spirit of compassion and empathy, teaching youth the importance of giving back.

Foster Social Connections

Mozaic Youth creates a supportive environment where young people can build meaningful relationships with their peers. Social events, group activities, and collaborative projects encourage teamwork, communication, and a strong sense of belonging.

Develop Leadership Skills

The program is committed to cultivating the next generation of leaders. Through leadership training workshops, mentorship opportunities, and real-world experiences, youth are equipped with the skills needed to take on leadership roles within their communities and beyond.

Supporting Refugee Youth Integration

Helping refugee youth integrate quickly and form bonds, inspired by the Ansar’s welcoming of the Muhajireen. We provide an inclusive space where they can cope with homesickness, past traumas, and their families’ financial instability, which impacts their mental wellness.

Mozaic Youth Club

The Mozaic Youth Club Initially established to forge strong connections between refugee youth and community youth, embodying the spirit of the Ansar and Muhajirin. By offering assistance with homework and explaining difficult lessons, matching refugee youth with the same mother tongue of community youth for both to benefit from strengthening their bilingual skills, the club helped refugee youth integrate while preserving their cultural identity. rewrite
As the club evolved, it introduced new ideas and activities that expanded its reach and impact. Today, the Mozaic Youth Club provides young girls with a safe and supportive space where they can come together in the spirit of sisterhood. The club encourages them to engage in activities overseen by specialists, fostering their talents, discussing their concerns, and empowering them to make meaningful changes in their lives. It aims to inspire these young girls to become promising leaders, taking on successful projects and initiatives.
Additionally, the club helps them develop a deep understanding of global issues, enabling them to be positive forces for change in the world. Through a variety of activities, events, and workshops—ranging from field trips and life skills development to creative arts and community service projects—the Mozaic Youth Club nurtures participants to grow into confident individuals, ready to lead with compassion, wisdom, and a strong sense of social responsibility.
