Career Pathways
We wrapped up our Professional Career Development Workshop led by Nidal Khaznadar from ChinUp. This impactful program featured seven insightful sessions, equipping participants with skills in resume building, job hunting, interview techniques, salary negotiation, and networking. A total of 35 participants from diverse backgroundsbenefited from this initiative, and we are thrilled to share that at least three participants secured jobs by applying what they learned during the workshops. Congratulations to all, and a huge thank you to ChinUp for their dedication!

Partnership Spotlight
Mozaic proudly partnered with Kids In Need of Defense (KIND) to assist an unaccompanied minor newly arrived in the U.S. Through this initiative, we furnished his bedroom and provided essential items, including household goods, hygiene kits, and winter clothing, ensuring he had a warm and comfortable start in his new home.
Kareem Between
We had the pleasure of hosting National Book Award Winner, Shifa Saltagi Safadi, for a virtual author event on January 24th at the Mozaic Center. She captivated our young audience with readings from her books, including Kareem Between, and gave an exclusive preview of her upcoming release, The Gift of Eid. Participants enjoyed a lively Kahoot game with prizes and later created vision boards inspired by Shifa’s work. Refugee families received gifted copies of Kareem Between, while others had the opportunity to purchase signed copies.
If you’re interested in a signed copy, reach out to Mozaic! You can also pre-order The Gift of Eid here: https://shifasafadi.com/the-gift-of-eid/
