This course will be offered In-person, offering participants more interaction with the teacher and fellow participants.
In this course, youth will learn a broad spectrum of moral and social teachings, and important biographies are covered in a systematic and organized fashion giving both the theory and the practical examples in real life of Islamic Akhlaq and Tahthib. We chose Quranic verses and authentic Ahadith as a basis for the lesson. It also includes issues relevant to Muslim communities in the West & the social environment they are living in.
The book’s first part is a textbook designed especially for the classroom. It deals with various tenets of Islamic Tahthib and Akhlaq, referring to the Quran & Sunna as the most important source. Second part is an enrichment section, that deals with the lives of the prophets, the Sīrah of Prophet Mohammad ﷺ, and the lives of some prominent Sahabah and other pious Muslims.
